Nicholas Hill, CEM, LEED-AP BD+C
Since 1986, Nicholas Hill has helped clients save money and navigate their energy issues. After years as a consultant and Energy Service Company manager, he founded Hill Energy Services in 2002. His expertise is in working with a range of people within an organization to produce solutions to their energy problems. This type of collaboration and cooperation sets him apart from most energy experts. He works with clients to leverage their ideas and resources to help them creatively address a variety of energy management issues.
Nick is a Certified Energy Manager and a LEEDTM Accredited Professional. He has worked as an energy auditor, construction manager, designer and project manager for consulting firms and major energy services companies. Over the span of his career, he has designed and implemented energy efficiency projects and programs worth over $50 million. He is also active in mentoring clean technology startups. Since 2012, he has volunteered as a mentor in the Cleantech Open Northeast’s incubator program, helping entrepreneurs develop clean energy businesses. He serves as co-chair of the Cleantech Open Northeast’s Mentor Recruitment Committee and was named the 2016 Northeast Region Mentor of the Year. He is the vice-chair of the Needham (MA) Climate Action Planning Committee.
